I have an ever-growing collection of dresses and robes as part of my complimentary client wardrobe. All of the garments are carefully purchased with the signature Maple & Eve aesthetic in mind, but also equally as important is that they are flattering, cater to multiple sizes and body shapes. Personal Purchase Guidelines

  • Dresses should be midi to maxi in length.

  • Dresses that flow are flattering while standing and sitting, while holding children.

  • Dresses with sleeves (long or short depending on the season) are preferred.

  • Please ensure colours match my aesthetic (please see the portfolio link on the website to view my socials).

  • Keep in mind;

    • Earthy- Green (sage, olive), brown (most shades)

    • Neutral- White, cream, beige,

    • Rich - rust orange, black, khaki green, mustard, orange

    • Soft- Dusty pink, peach, soft, dainty florals,

  • Ideal colours; peach, green (sage/olive, khaki green), all tones of brown, beige, cream, dusty pink, white, mustard.

  • If wearing a patterned dress, ensure that it is created with the above colour mixtures, or muted (not bright) colours.

I Have a small, but growing selection of mens shirts to choose from. The sizing for the shirts above are as follows;

Personal Purchase Guidelines

  • Men are advised to wear chinos, long or short depending on comfort, preference and season. Denim is second choice if chinos aren’t an option.

  • A cotton or linen button up top is advised as it looks neat, and tidy. Various shops sell these, please see below for shop recommendations.

  • Colours- Brown, beige, tan, cream, green (khaki, olive), white; lighter, softer, muted colours are advised.

  • Feel free to wear a shirt underneath and keep the buttons of the top open if you prefer a more cool & casual look

Girls

  • Dresses, or overalls with a dainty top/blouse. Matching shirt & skirt set.

  • Same colour suggestions as from the ‘Women’s’ guidelines. - white, beige, dusty pink, terracotta (shades of orange), peach, brown, etc.

  • There are lots of beautiful floral options for girls available (If hesitant, feel free to contact me to discuss).

  • Keep in mind, if you are wearing a plain dress, a soft floral is a compliment to break up the colour and add some texture and tones to the session.

  • Little girls: If you have a little girl, please be mindful that dresses can blow up during the fun of a family session (i.e., daddy throwing child in air), so bloomers or something underneath the dress is advised.
